The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says no fewer than ten people have been confirmed dead as tanker explosion occurred around Sagamu axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway at the early hours of today.
State FRSC sector commander, Ahmed Umar confirmed this to newsmen, explaining that two tankers, one trucks and one bus were involved in the explosion, as he revealed that there is a possibility of discovering more casualties as recovery efforts is currently ongoing.
He however advised motorists to make use of alternative routes in order to avoid unnecessary delay and remain calm with the traffic operatives managing the situation.
