Sixteen people have been killed and four others injured in a road accident that occurred in Makarfi Local government area of Kaduna state over the weekend.
State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kabir Nadabo attributed the lone accident to over speeding that led to the driver losing control of the steering and ramming into a ditch.
He however stated that the injured have been conveyed to Makarfi general hospital for immediate treatment, while the deceased has been deposited at Abu teaching hospital in the state.
