The federal government says a total of 2,889 students studying education-related courses in Nigerian higher institutions have benefited from the 75 thousand naira bursary awards during the first quarterly meeting of the Federal Ministry of Education.
Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman told newsmen that the quarterly citizenship engagement is to create an awareness of the activities of the ministry.
Recall that the federal government had during the commemoration of world teachers day in 2021, said students undergoing degree Programmes in education in public universities will get a 75 thousand Naira stipend per semester.
