Panic has engulfed the Zuru Emirate in Kebbi State after armed bandits attacked government girls comprehensive senior secondary school, killing the vice principal and abducting several students.
The assault left the vice principal, Hassan Makuku, dead after he reportedly attempted to shield students from the attackers, while the number of students kidnapped remains unclear, as authorities are yet to provide official details.
A resident, Hassan Gishiri, who confirmed the incident, said the assailants invaded the school unhindered, unleashing terror and throwing the Community into Trauma.
