No fewer than 22 passengers on board a boat from Kasabu Village in Niger State to Yauri, Kebbi State, has capsized.
State Director-General for Emergency Management Agency, Salihu Garba, disclosed this to journalists in Minna, the State Capital, stating that the agency received a report of the boat incident that occurred on Monday between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
He said that Search and Rescue Operations are ongoing by the local drivers and boat owners under the supervision of the Agency’s Desk Officer in Agwara.
