President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, 24th of January, 2023 depart Lagos for Dakar in Senegal in order to attend the second edition of the Dakar international conference on agriculture.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, who confirmed this to newsmen, explained that the conference, which has its theme as ‘feeding Africa: food sovereignty and resilience” is convened jointly by the government of Senegal and the African development bank.
The conference, which will among other activities, seek to create favorable conditions toward achieving food security in Africa, will also convey side meetings to discuss agreements on the delivery of food and agricultural products in some countries, including Nigeria.
