Taraba State Police Command have confirmed the electrocution and death of four family members consisting of father, mother and two children with several others sustaining injuries.
According to a press statement by the Command’s spokesman, Abdullahi Usman, detectives from the GRA division of The State Command were deployed to the scene but on arrival, the victims were found lying dead with burns all over their bodies.
Usman further added that thorough investigation revealed that the transformer in the area blew up when power was restored causing the fire incident in several houses.
