Federal government has asked Nigerians to ignore the recent security alert from a foreign embassy.
The United States embassy in Nigeria, in a statement on Sunday, alerted that there is risk of terror attacks around government buildings, places of worship, schools, markets, hotels, international centers among others in Abuja, warning americans in the country to be cautious of their movements.
But the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed during a ministerial panel in Abuja declared nigeria safer now than before, adding that nigerians should only be alert and not panic.
