The Acting Accountant General of the Federation, Silvia Okoliaboh has given a timeline of three months within which the Federal Government will sit down with a committee set up by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to resolve all issues concerning their demands.
Okoliaboh, who spoke at a meeting with the speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, disclosed that a formal letter will be forwarded to the union before the closing of today.
Recall that President of ASUU, Emmanuel Osodeke had last two weeks revealed that the union called off the eight-month old strike action on trust.
