The federal government has described funding issue, insecurity and cultural differences as major concerns for the conduct of the 2023 National Housing and Population Census.

Minister of State for Budget and  National Planning, Clem Agba stated this at a meeting with members of the private sector and development partners in Abuja, explaining that over 60 percent of funds needed for the census has been released but  funding intervention from development partners remains key.

He therefore allayed fears that the census  which  is scheduled to hold between March 29th and April 2nd  might not hold in some communities due to insecurity challenges.
