Nasarawa state governor, Abdullahi Sule has dismissed claims that he has an anointed candidate for the 2027 governorship election in the state.
Sule, who dismissed the report at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariat in Lafia, described the rumors as false and baseless.
He however emphasized that the decision on who will become the next governor rests with the people in the state, while urging the public to disregard any claims of government-backed candidates.
