Kano state governor, Abba Yusuf has directed all the 19 commissioner nominees to comply with the code of conduct rules in the state.
The governor, who spoke to newsmen, said the nominees are expected to declare their assets within the best possible time before their onward screening at the State Assembly.
He however vowed that no commissioner nominee will be sworn- in as cabinet member without filling the asset declaration form from the Code of Conduct Bureau, as he assured the citizens in the state that transparency and accountability will remain the basic principles of his administration.
