The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) says it has scheduled to meet with the Nigeria Communications Commission, (NCC), tomorrow, 6th of December, 2022, as part of efforts to consolidate on plans for electronic transmission of results in the 2023 general elections.
INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, who made this known in Lagos state, explained that the meeting follows as hoodlums again attacked the commission’s office in Oru west local government area of Imo state on Sunday.
Yakubu however assured Nigerians that the 2023 general election will be conducted despite attacks on its facilities.
