Oyo State Government has disbursed 500 million naira to owners of small businesses, to boost their enterprises, as part of the sustainable action for Economic Recovery Initiative.
Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde had promised to support small business owners with 500 million naira single-digit-interest loan to stimulate small businesses in the wake of removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly called PETROL.
Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, therefore advised the beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunity, stressing that the state government will not relent in improving the lot of the citizens and residents of the state through initiatives.
