The Nigerian Senate has commenced the process of amending the electoral act, 2022 in order to consider conducting all elections same day in the country.
According to a lawmaker representing Niger State Central, Sani Musa, who sponsored the bill, the Upper Legislative Chamber is expected to introduce some amendments to the House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has introduced a similar bill, which has passed second reading.
