President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed the readiness of Nigeria to strengthen existing relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Buhari confirmed this during a courtesy call by the Vice President of Iran, Mohsen Mansouri in Doha, the capital city of the state of Qatar, expressing hope that the strong relations he has built between the two countries will continue, as new president will be taking over in less than three months.
On his part, the Iranian Vice President stressed that it is important for the two countries to strengthen a joint commission at the highest levels.
