The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed that seven people have been killed while 16 others injured by bandits who stormed a religious occasion in Musawa Local Government Area of the State.
According to the police, the bandits stormed the gathering and fired several gunshots at those attending the occasion.
State Governor, Dikko Radda, who expressed displeasure over the attack, condoned with the families of the victims and assured adequate treatment for the injured persons.
