All clubs in the Nigeria professional football league, have proposed playing an abridged league for the 2022/23 season of the Nigeria top tier league.
The clubs, during a closed-door meeting with the new NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau in Abuja seeks the plan due to time constraints and the need to have a uniform football calendar with the European leagues
Meanwhile, the proposal is to be forwarded to the interim management committee of the league for consideration
