The National Universities Commission (NUC) has denied reports that it uncovered a total of 100 fake professors in some universities across the country.
Recall that some media organizations had listed some universities as part of the institutions indicted by the NUC for having fake professors.
NUC acting executive secretary, Chris Maiyaki therefore appealed to government officials at all levels, members of the commission, the international community and the public to disregard the items of fake and stale news
