The Inspector-General of police, Usman Baba has approved the deployment of new commissioners of police to Ogun and four other states.

Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the approval in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja, listed the other affected states as Lagos, Adamawa, Taraba and Enugu, stressing that the former force spokesman, Frank Mba has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police in Ogun state.

Adejobi however revealed that the CPS redeployment is coming as the general elections remains 17 days, while stressing that their approval is also in line with the police service commission act law.
