The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Oludaisi Elemide, has reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to upholding the rule of law through collaboration with key legal stakeholders, including the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abeokuta branch.
Elemide made the pledge while receiving the executive members of the NBA, led by its Chairman, Barrister Kayode Aderemi, during a courtesy visit to the Assembly complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
He revealed the 10th Assembly’s agenda to digitize all passed legislations to make them more accessible to the public.
In his reaction, Barrister Aderemi expressed the NBA’s readiness to provide legal guidance and collaborate with the Assembly to improve the quality of legislative work and drive justice sector reforms in the state.
