The Organised Labour has suspended its planned nationwide indefinite strike action for the next one month.

This was contained in a memorandum of understanding signed by the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, General Secretary, Emmanuel Ugboaja; as well as the TUC President, Festus Osifo, among others.

Recall that The Federal Government had offered a wage award of 35 thousand naira to all Federal Government workers pending when a new national minimum wage is expected to be signed into law.
