The Ogun State Police Command has announced the arrest of 24-year-old Sulaiman Laja, an alleged notorious member of the Aiye confraternity, during an operation in Igbesa, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government area of the state..
State Command’s Spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the arrest in a statement, noting that the suspect was spotted in disguise before being trailed to his hideout, where officers conducted a search that led to the recovery of “a serviceable single-barrel gun, strongly believed to have been used for criminal activities within the community.
Odutola further stated that Laja admitted to being an active member of the Aiye Cult Group and provided useful information identifying other fleeing members of the gang.
