President Bola Tinubu has set up a Tripartite Economic Advisory Committee in what he described as part of his efforts in stabilizing Nigeria’s economy.
The committee, which comprised representatives from the federal and state governments as well as the Organised Private Sector, was assembled and announced by the President during a meeting held with critical stakeholders at the State House in Abuja while the discussion focused mainly on the economy, food security and job creation.
However, some of the prominent members of the private sector that made the list includes the Chairman of United Bank for Africa, Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, among others.
