Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assented to the 2024 appropriation bill.
Speaking at the signing ceremony which took place at the Lagos house, Alausa, Ikeja, the governor noted that the approved budget size is 21.743 billion naira higher than what was presented to the State Assembly “due to additional provisions to enforce completion of ongoing projects.
Meanwhile, the budget estimate for the 2024 fiscal year, tagged “budget of renewal” was present to the State House of Assembly for consideration on December 13, 2023, passed last week Friday and subsequently transmitted to the governor for his assent.
