Armed terrorists have launched an attack on the Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina state, killing five people and injuring no fewer than 12 others.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Abubakar Aliyu, confirmed this to newsmen, explaining that the terrorists stormed the town in their numbers and started shooting from the outskirts of the communities.
Meanwhile, Commissioner for Internal Security in the State, Nasiru Muazu, described the incident as unfortunate, adding that the State government will continue to prioritize citizens’ safety.
