President Bola Tinubu has sacked the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Alexander Okoh.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced Okoh’s dismissal in a statement, adding that The President also sacked the executive Vice Chairman of Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, Babatunde Irukera.
Ngelale further stated that the duo were sacked following plans to restructure and reposition critical agencies of the federal government towards protecting the rights of Nigerian consumers.
