The Federal Government says it has secured the release of 100 students of St. Mary Catholic Private Primary and Secondary Schools, Papiri, Agwara Local Government area of Niger State.

Recall that gunmen had attacked the remote community on November 21, storming the school on motorbikes abducting 315 people, including 303 students and 12 teachers.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Niger State Chapter, Bishop Yohanna, said it has not been officially notified of the newly released 100 students following their abduction recently.
