Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed has approved the recruitment of 1,684 secondary school teachers, extension workers and staff of the state-owned Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare.
This was disclosed to journalists by the state head of civil service, Yahuza Haruna, adding that the approval follows the lifting of embargo of employment into the state civil service by Governor Mohammed in his inaugural address on the 29th of may, 2023.
He however commended the governor for giving the approval, which he said will not only make the needed manpower in relevant sectors available but also enhance the state’s economic status.
