Lagos State Government has warned operators of articulated vehicles, tankers and trucks to comply strictly with traffic laws and speed limits.
Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Transportation, Sola Giwa, issued the warning in a statement while reacting to a crash caused by speeding and involving a heavy-duty truck conveying compressed natural gas and a privately owned motor vehicle.
He further warned that the state government will not hesitate to unleash the full weight of the law on any individual found culpable of endangering human lives through reckless or unlawful driving practices.
