Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo says the clash of interests between the Academic Staff Union of Universities and the Federal Government will not end soon.

Chief Obasanjo, speaking as a panelist at the national summit on tertiary education reform in Abuja noted that his administration also had issues with the union despite his efforts to satisfy lecturers in the country.

The ex-president however warns that Nigeria must educate the 20 million children that were out of school to avert creating another set of Boko Haram terrorists.
