Ondo state ministry of education has indefinitely suspended 27 students from three public secondary schools in Akure over alleged acts of gross misconduct.
The affected students are from Oyemekun Grammar School, Aquinas college and CAC grammar school, following reports of unruly behaviour in violation of the state’s code of conduct.
The ministry said the action is aimed at strengthening discipline in schools and warned that misconduct will attract strict sanctions.
