The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the death of thirteen persons in an auto crash in Kogi state.
State FRSC Sector Commander, Samuel Oyedeji, disclosed this to newsmen, stating that the accident, involving a commercial bus and an articulated truck occurred along Obajana-Lokoja road in Lokoja local government area of the state, leaving two people critically injured.
According to the sector commander, the bus had packed behind a truck around the road for passengers to buy some things when the truck’s brake failed and rammed into the bus from behind.
