A Deputy Commissioner of Police serving with the force criminal and investigation department in Alagbon area of Lagos state, Gbolahan Oyedemi has committed suicide in his private house in his hometown at Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
Recall that Oyedemi was an aide to the late Former Governor of the state, Adebayo Alao-Akala during his 11-month tenure as governor in 2006.
Force criminal intelligence and investigations department spokesperson, Aminat Mayegun, who confirmed this to newsmen, explained that his dead body was found hanging in his house, where he slept alone, while investigation has been launch into the matter.
