The Federal Government has signed the green imperative project agreement with Brazil which will see the South American country invest about 8 billion Dollars in the Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
The agreement was signed during a meeting chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima and attended by a delegation from Brazil led by the Brazilian ambassador to Nigeria, Carlos Garcete, the Minister of State for Agriculture, Abdullahi Sabi, Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, among others.
Shettima said the move is part of efforts of the current federal government to promote food security in Nigeria.
