Ahead of the 2023 general elections in the country, the European union has pledged to support credible polls in Nigeria.
European Union Ambassador to Nigeria, Samuela Isopi, who made this known during a courtesy visit to Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki at the government house in Benin city, noted that Nigeria’s progress is of importance as she vowed to work with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other stakeholders by providing technical assistance as well as expertise.
In his response, the governor however commended the European union for its partnership with Nigeria.
