The Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), federal capital territory, has commenced its seven-day warning strike.
NARD disclosed this in a communique issued by its president, Dr George Ebong, describing the FCT health system as a long-standing systemic failure requiring comprehensive and immediate reform, lamenting that doctors in the FCT are under immense pressure, frequently covering multiple departments.
He, therefore, called on the federal government to urgently address rising challenges in the health sector, warning that continued neglect can cause systemic collapse.
