The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) says the two hundred thousand naira minimum wage earlier proposed to the Federal Government is no longer realistic.
NLC President, Joe Ajaero, who spoke to reporters, lamented that most governors of the 37-member tripartite committee on minimum wage are guilty of not complying with the proposed base pay structure.
Recall that Vice President, Kashim Shettima had inaugurated the committee in Abuja earlier on Tuesday in order to ensure a decent living wage for civil servants in the country.
