Federal Government has approved an extension of the deadline for this year’s hajj registration by the intending pilgrims to 31st of January, 2024.

Assistant Director of Public Affairs at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Fatima Usara, who announced this in a statement issued in Abuja, said the extension is in response to the concerns raised by religious clerics, state pilgrims’ welfare boards, agencies, commissions and other stakeholders to extend the closure of the 2024 hajj registration.

Recall that the registration has been dated to close on 31st of December, 2023.
