The Federal Ministry of Health has announced that it has engaged the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) to monitor and track the utilisation of the basic healthcare provision fund across the country.

This was disclosed by a team led by a member of the ministerial oversight committee for basic Health care provision fund Secretariat, Dakum Benji, during a one-day onboarding workshop held in Bauchi State.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the event, Benji said the move aims to ensure accountability, transparency, and efficient implementation of the fund at the Federal, State, Local Government, and facility levels.
