A Section of the Nigeria’s Supreme Court has been gutted by fire at the early hours of today.

Public Relations Officer for the Court, Festus Akande, who spoke to Newsmen explained that the fire was caused by an electric surge from one of the chambers of the justices and was put out with the use of fire extinguishers, adding that no casualty was recorded.

A source who chose to remain anonymous said cleaners on duty and some of the workers who resumed early for work detected the fire and raised the alarm.
