He corps marshal of the federal road safety, Shehu Mohammed, has called for a unified approach to tackle high  level  of road accidents in Nigeria, especially during the ’ember months’.

Launching an intensified safety campaign at a two-day workshop for FRSC management staff in Abuja,  Mohammed stressed the importance of cooperation from all sectors of society, underscoring that road safety is everyone’s responsibility , as  road accidents are the leading cause of death among young people globally and in Nigeria.

He stressed that, as Africa’s most populous youth demographic, Nigeria stands to suffer immeasurable losses if road safety does not improve.
