Ekiti state governor, Biodun Oyebanji has appointed justice Lekan Ogunmoye as acting chief judge of the state with effect from November 5, 2024.
Special adviser to the governor on media, Olayinka Oyebode, disclosed this in a statement released in ado Ekiti, stating that the appointment is in furtherance of the powers conferred on the governor by section 271 sub section 4 of the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria as amended.
According to him, the acting chief judge replaces the former chief judge, Oyewole Adeyeye, who passed away on Monday, 4th of November, 2024.
