The Chief medical director of Lautech teaching hospital, Ogbomoso, Olawale Olakulehin, says 31 of the 39 pupils rescued from abduction in Oriire local government area of Oyo state have been discharged after being certified medically fit.
Olakulehin said the remaining eight pupils are still on admission and receiving medical treatment and close observation to ensure their full recovery.
He assured parents and the public that the hospital will continue to provide medical and psychological care for the children until they are fit to return home.
