The federal government has unveiled an advanced supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system for managing the national power grid.
Minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu, in a statement in Abuja, assured that the new technology promises to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of the country’s power supply, positioning Nigeria for a more stable energy future.
He further stated that the SCADA system provides real-time monitoring and control of the national grid, enabling operators to detect faults, manage loads more efficiently, and respond promptly to outages.
