Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago has declared Thursday, 30th and Friday, 31st of October, 2025, as work-free days across the state.
The move is to allow residents to fully participate in the Local Government elections set for Saturday, November 1, 2025.
According to a statement by the secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman, the government urged citizens to come out in large numbers and choose capable leaders who will drive development at the grassroot levels.
