Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspected fraudsters for swindling a yet-to-be-identified woman out of 7.5 Million Naira in the Ikorodu area of the state.
State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a tweet over the weekend, said the suspects perpetrated the crime under the guise of providing spiritual help for the woman, adding that the suspects were on the brink of collecting another tranch of funds from the victim when the police arrested them.
He however assured that investigation is ongoing on the matter.
