The Federal Government says Nigeria needs 345 million Dollars annually to reintegrate and equip its estimated 15 million out-of-school children across the country.
Education minister, Tunji Alausa disclosed this in Lagos, noting the figure reflects current per capita costs, with 25 percent of children aged 5 to14 out of school nationwide.
While adding that the rate rises in the north-east and north-west, the minister stressed that education is key to achieving the “renewed hope” 1 trillion dollars economy target by 2030.
