The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) says prospective corps members will not be mobilised without clearance from the National Electronic Registration Database (NERD).
In a notice posted on its official x account, the scheme announced that nerd clearance is now compulsory for all prospective corps members ahead of the next mobilisation exercise.
The NYSC advised candidates to complete the clearance process early to avoid delays, as preparations for the next batch and measures to ensure safe travel to orientation camps continue.
