The Ogun state universal basic education board (SUBEB) has reiterated its commitment to sustained collaboration with schools across the state, as part of ongoing efforts to improve the standard of basic education.
Speaking during an official visit to Ewekoro local government area, SUBEB chairman, Olalekan Ifede emphasized the importance of foundational education in nurturing responsible, informed and capable future leaders.
According to Family FM’s Segun Omotanbaje, Ifede noted that basic education will transcend reading and writing, while calling for a curriculum that promotes critical thinking, civic responsibility and moral uprightness among pupils.
